Lamar Odom leaves hospital after long ordeal: Report

As 2016 starts, former NBA star Lamar Odom is starting a new period of his life as he transitions out of along hospitalization, according to Us Weekly.

The celebrity news magazine added that Odom’s estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, was behind the surreptitious move to a “private facility that has been set up as a rehab near Kardashian’s home” and that it “was made quickly and without notifying even Odom’s family.”

Odom’s hospitalization became an Internet flashpointwhen it happened in October.At that time, rumors about Odom’s healthfueled heated discussions about the nature of celebrity, and addiction,on social media.

A day after the incident where Odom was found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel, the New York Daily News reported on Odom using the headline, “Lamar Odom plagued by crack-cocaine addiction rumors since Khloe Kardashian marriage crumbled.”

Likewise, before the Las Vegas incident, gossip siteTMZ alleged in September that Odom was on a “crack binge with twowomen.”

In its report on Odom leaving the hospital, Us Weekly called hisreversal of fortune “nothing short of miraculous after doctors thought Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband wouldn’t make it through the day when he was first admitted.”
