Police arrested a convicted sex offender after he was caught naked with a 14-year-old boy in a car parked at a Long Island shopping center.
Kieran Bunce, 48, of Melville, will be arraigned Friday on charges of committing a criminal sex act and endangering the welfare of a child, ABCreported. RELATED: Subway sex crimes see drastic increase: NYPD A police officer spotted Bunce’s vehicle parked in a darkened section of the Fort Salonga Shopping Center just after midnight on Thursday morning, Newsday reported. Inside, the officer saw that Bunce and the teenage boy were naked, and detectives determined that sexual contact had taken place. Suffolk County police said in the ABC article that Bunce and the teen had arranged their meeting via a cellphone app.
RELATED:School custodian allegedly sold students’ semen at sperm bank Bunce had been classified as a Level 1 sex offender stemming from his 2004 conviction of sexual misconduct with a 16-year-old boy, according to Newsday. He was sentenced to six years probation.
