Fortnite for Android release date

How to download Fortnite for Android? Is it in Google Play?

After making sure your device is compatible to play the beta version of Fortnite on Android, you’ll need to visit the official Epic Games Android beta page and sign up for an official invite and they will send you an email letting you know when you can play the Fortnite Battle Royale for Android.

Is Fortnite on Google Play?

The only way to play Fortnite for Android is to sign up on the Epic Games website. According to The Verge, users should download anything from third-party websites claiming they have links to download Fortnite for Android. The beta version is not available on Google Play and you’re encouraged to stay away from any third-party developer claiming to provide a link to play Fortnite because it could potentially infect your device with malware and spam.

So when does Fortnite on Android come out?

As we all know, Epic Games is still working out the bugs with its beta release and is slowly adding more compatible devices and fixes for unsupported devices. For now, Epic Games did not release an official Fortnite for Android release date, but if you sign up for the Android beta release, you’ll be placed on the waiting list for the full release.

The official release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is Friday, August 24, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Epic Games rolls out the official Android release on or around the same date, or gives the first Samsung Galaxy Note 9 owners early access to play since the new mobile device boasts the latest technology needed to support the best gameplay possible.

Eventually, Epic Games will roll out fixes or patches for older devices to make sure gameplay remains smooth for everyone. But as we all know, to get the most out of a game as dynamic as Fortnite, you’ll probably need to upgrade your Android device at some point to get the gameplay experience you expect.
