Travel company Busabout is hiring and looking to assemble a small team of people called “The Ultimate Travel Squad.”
According to the company’s website, they are looking for four “travel addicts” to go on a three-month European vacation this summer and document the entire travel experience to post to their social media networks. Think of it as a three-month social media manager job with an amazing travel perk.
Busabout is looking for four engaging storytellers who love to travel. The “Ultimate Travel Squad” will be responsible for creating content for Busabout social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, SnapChat /Instagram Stories and a the company’s blog site.

The four lucky travel lovers and social media mavens will go on a three-month trip to Europe using their Hop-on-Hop-Off coach service. According to the company, the travel squad will visit popular cities such as Paris and Rome but will also explore hidden gems and take on other adventures off the beaten path.

How to apply
To apply to become part of the Ultimate Travel Squad and literally get paid to travel and post to social media, you have to follow their instructions to be selected.
Let them know what category you’re interested in applying for (YouTube, Instagram, Blogging, Snapchat etc). You must submit a 60-second public YouTube video telling them why you would be the perfect person for the position. If you have an outgoing and animated personality, the video intro might be easy for you. The company also encourages group applications, meaning if you and three other social media and travel loving buddies want to apply as a group, then you can. Each of you just needs to pick a separate position to apply to.
Although the idea of having a job where you get paid to travel sounds like a wonderful dream, the company reminds applicants that they still need to create content and meet deadlines for Busabout’s marketing department. The company doesn’t specify the exact dates for the trip, but according to the website, you must be available to travel between mid-May and early September.
