The south tube of the Lincoln Tunnel has reopened after being shut down on Friday evening after witnesses reported a police chase, according to reports.
Multiple Twitter accounts reported a vehicle blowing past tolls with police cars in tow just after 8 p.m.

The New Jersey State police chased a vehicle into the south tub and there were “several arrests” made on the New York end,ABC7 reported. Port Authority announced residual delays of up to 30 minutes,NBC4 reported, it can take up to 30 minutes for busses to travel from the tunnel to Port AuthorityBus Terminal.
