LL Cool J continues bid to become lifelong Grammy host

Don’t, as they say, call it a comeback. This might not really qualify as news at this point, but LL Cool J is officially booked as the host of the Grammy Awards. Yet again. The CBS stalwart — who also stars on the network’s “NCIS: Los Angeles,” for fans of corporate synergy — hosted the event last year, as well as an awards-free Grammy extravaganza at the Staples Center the year before that was indistinguishable from the actual Grammys outside of the fact that there were no acceptance speeches. And then there was A Very Grammy Christmas this past November. Oh, and he’s also won two Grammys himself in the past. So yeah, him and these awards are pretty much inseparable at this point. At least he knows his way around the venue.
