The weather may be lagging behind its seasonal schedule, but Bryant Park provesyou don’t need snow to open aWinter Village.

With over 130 vendors and food stalls brimming with holiday spirit, the annual market officially kicked off this week with a performance byOlympianJohnny Weir to “Creep” by Radiohead (he’ll be back for the market’s tree lighting ceremony) and some impressive group skating by Team Image Synchro.

The rink is open until March 5 and doesn’t charge admission, one of the many reasons why Winter Village is the best seasonal market. But youonly have until Jan. 2 to shop the small businesses, many selling locally made goods, and sample more than 30 restaurants and food vendors.
