A Pepperell man is under arrest after police said he walked into an elementary school there while exposing himself.
Charles Jestings, 54, was arrested after officers responded to a call reporting a man exposing himself in the lobby of Varnum Brook Elementary School.
Witnesses told investigators that Jestings approached the front counter and was speaking with a secretary when another employee noticed the man was exposing himself.

“Superintendent Landers and I want to assure all Varnum Brook parents that no students were in contact with this individual,” Chief Scott said. “School staff quickly removed this individual from the building and we took over from there.” Information about when Jestings will appear in court was not immediately available.
