Police are looking for a man who was caught on surveillance video walking with a woman just hours before she was found dead inside a Bay Ridge park.
The body of Bay Ridge resident Jennifer Cohen, 35, was discovered at Owl Head Park near Colonial Road and Wakeman Place at about 10 a.m. Thursday, police said. She had head and face trauma, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner later determined that her death was a homicide.
NYPD has discovered surveillance footage of an unidentified man walking with Cohen on Second Avenue at about 2:45 a.m. Thursday. He is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 175 pounds, was carrying a black backpack, and last seen wearing a black jacket with white trim, black shorts with white trim, dark colored sneakers and a dark colored baseball cap.
