Massachusetts State Police have released a video seeking information that would help solve a two-decade old murder.

Susan Taraskiewicz was found in the trunk of her car on Sept. 14, 1992 outside an autobody shop on Rte 1A in Revere. Her murder has yet to be solved.

Taraskiewicz had worked for Northwest Airlines at Boston Logan International Airport and had left to get sandwiches for her co-workers, according to police. The 27-year-old didn’t return to work or her family home in Saugus. She was found the next morning.

At that time, police say, a group of Northwest employees, not Taraskiewicz, had been part of a credit card theft ring and Taraskiewicz had been the subject of persistent sexual harassment by her male coworkers.

According to State Police “The facts and circumstances of Susan’s brutal killing, including whether it was connected to people involved in the credit thefts and sexual harassment or other individuals, remains under active investigation by the Suffolk County DA, State Police and the Revere Police Department.”

In the eight minute video, Taraskiewicz’s mother, Marlene, pleads for information pertaining to the homicide.

“She would be so angry and upset knowing this has destroyed her family — that somebody taking her life had destroyed her family,” she said.
