The Tiger Slam ain’t happening this year as golf fans’ favorite 43-year-old didn’t even make the cut at the PGA Championship following an ugly second round.
Odds at DraftKings Sportsbook have obviously come back to Earth when it comes to Woods winning another major this year, but Pebble Beach may be his best opportunity. Tiger has had an up-and-down history at Pebble, but may have played the best tournament of his career at the course in the 2000 U.S. Open. Of course, that was 19 years ago.
DraftKings Sportsbook dished out a Tiger-specific odds boost from +1000 to +1150 earlier this week and has several other outstanding US Open offers.
One of DK’s offers is appropriately called, “Tiger Insurance.”
Here is how it works.
– Users place a bet on Tiger to win the US Open
– If Tiger wins, users collect winnings on the posted odds as they normally would
– If Tiger doesn’t win, but finishes 2nd – 10th the user’s bet is refunded up to $50 (depending on the amount of their initial bet)
– The refunded bet is in the form of a free bet
