Macy’s may put on the biggest fireworks show, but it’s not the only one. Here’s where to see fireworks displays around the city along with free music, food trucks and baseball games. Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular Living up to its name, Macy’s puts on a25-minute show over the East River in a display that television just can’t do justice to, so go see it for yourself. The best viewing locations are along F.D.R. Drive and the South Street Seaport, or the highest rooftop (bars) in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Alice Austen House Independence Day Celebration Take in a concert on the lawn from the Staten Island Philharmonic, followed by fireworks.
Staten Island Yankees vs. Hudson Valley Renegades We love Citi Field, but the view of New York Harbor and the Manhattan skyline makes this the most scenic stadium in town, even before the fireworks start.
Brooklyn Cyclones vs. Williamsport Crosscutters The night’s theme is country music,so don’t forget a cowboy hat.
Coney Island’s July 4th Fireworks Spectacular After you check out the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, stick around for a fireworks show on the boardwalk.
Freedom and Fireworks Festival Liberty State Park will have food trucks, carnival rides for kids, and music from local bands to keep you busy before the show.
