The 2019 Columbus Day Parade is set to take place on Monday in New York City.
Now in its 75th year, the NYC Columbus Day Parade continues to be the “world’s largest celebration of Italian-American culture,” according to the Columbus Citizens Foundation.
Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to fill the streets of Manhattan for the 2019 Columbus Day Parade to celebrate Italian-American heritage and culture, and millions of people worldwide are expected to watch the parade according to the parade organization.

2019 Columbus Day Parade date, start time
The 2019 Columbus Day Parade takes place on Monday, October 14. at 11:30 a.m. EST. The Grand Marshal of the 2019 Columbus Day Parade is Massimo Ferragamo, Chairman of Ferragamo USA. Mr. Ferragamo will lead the 75th annual Columbus Day Parade in New York City with more than 130 marching groups including various high school bands, Italian-American cultural organizations, and plenty of colorful floats.

The parade starts at 44th Street and Fifth Avenue and will march up Fifth Avenue to 72nd Street. There will be red carpet performances on Fifth Avenue, between 67th and 6th Streets.
