NHL Kings Devils free live stream, watch online

The Los Angeles Kings continue their six-game road trip tonight when they visit the New Jersey Devils at 7 p.m. ET at the Prudential Center. The last time these teams met was back on Dec. 6 where New Jersey won 6-3.

The Kings are 21-27-4 with just 46 points on the season, they are last in the Western Conference and second to last in the NHL. They have struggled on the road mightily this season; they are 9-14-3 away from home.

Los Angeles is coming off a 4-3 overtime win against the New York Rangers Monday night. Right winger, Tyler Toffoli was able to score the game-winner just 25 seconds into overtime.

A reason for the Kings dreadful season comes from their lack of scoring; they average 2.29 goals per game which is 30th in the NHL. They also struggle on the power play; they convert on just 14.8% of their chances which ranks them 28th.

The Devils aren’t exactly having a great season either. New Jersey is 20-24-7 with 47 points and is second to last in the Eastern Conference.

New Jersey has a lot of questions to answer in the next couple of weeks, primarily regarding their goaltending situation. The Devils signed Cory Schneider to a 7-year $42 million contract extension back in 2014 and still owe him $6 million per year up until the end of the 2021-22 season.

Schneider has been a great investment for the Devils following the retirement of Martin Brodeur up until this season. Schneider is having the worst season of his career, but he hasn’t exactly been able to stay healthy either.

Schneider had hip surgery over this past offseason and just recently suffered an abdominal injury. He is set to make his return to the ice at some point this week. He is 0-5-1 with a 4.66 GAA and a .852 save percentage in nine games.
