Nicki Minaj’s brother charged with raping pre-teen

Jelani Maraj, the brother of music artist Nicki Minaj (né Onika Maraj) has reportedly been charged with raping a 12-year-old.

“Jelani Maraj, 37, of Baldwin, was arraigned Thursday on first-degree rape and first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child,” Newsday reported.

Maraj was released from jail on a $100,000 bail, and the Nassau County district attorney did not release any further information regarding the case.
