Several major streets will be closed at various times throughout the weekend for events includingtheSusan G. Komen Run Walk, and the United American Muslim Parade. It’s best to be prepared in advance. Use public transportation.
The following street closures are for city events this weekend, September 12 – 13.
Saturday street closures
Broadway between 47th Street and 57th Street will be closed from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. for the Guardian Angels and St. Patrick’s Fair.
Several streets in Manhattan will be closed in and around Fifth Avenue between 44th Street and 66th Street from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. for the NYC Central Labor Council Parade.

Fifth Avenue between 125th Street and 124th Street, and 124th Street between Madison and 5th Avenue will be closed from 12 noon to 5 P.M. for the DOT Weekend Walks New Harlem East.
Sunday street closures
Fifth Avenue between 80th Street and 49th Street will be closed from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M for the NYRR 5th Avenue Mile.
Third Avenue between 66th Street and 88th Street will be closed for the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce 3rd Avenue Community Benefit Festival.
The following streets will be closed for the Susan G. Koman Run Walk:
Central Park West between 68th Street and 90th Street
West 90th Street between Central Park West and West Drive (inside Central Park)
West Drive between West 90th Street and Center Drive (inside Central Park)
Center Drive between West Drive and East Drive (inside Central Park)
East Drive between Center Drive and East 72nd Street (inside Central Park)
The United American Muslim Day Parade will along Madison Avenue between 38th Street and 26th Street. Expect street closures in the area from 1 P.M. to 6 P.M.
The Honduran and Central American Day Parade will close the following streets from 12:00 P.M. to 2 P.M. in The Bronx:
Southern Boulevard between East Tremont Avenue and Boston Road
Boston Road between Southern Boulevard and Charlotte Street
Charlotte Street between Crotona Park East and Boston Road
Myrtle Avenue between Fresh Pond Road and Wyckoff Avenue in Queens will be closed from 12:00 P.M. to 6 P.M. for the Myrtle Avenue BID/Myrtle Avenue Festival.
The 26th Annual NYC Century Bike Tour is Sunday and there will be major street closures throughout the city for the 100 mile bike tour from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M.
