Carnival time is here!
On Labor Day Brooklyn will celebrate its 48th Annual West Indian American Day Parade along Eastern Parkway.
The parade route will travel along Eastern Parkway beginning at 11 A.M featuring elaborate costumes and lots of food vendors in the area to serve-up tradional Caribbean dishes.
The parade and carnival will attract close to two million people.
If you plan on being in the area, it’s advised that you take public transportation.
The following streets will be closed on Saturday for theWest Indian American Day Carnival and Monday for theWest Indian American Day Parade and Festival/Labor Day Carnival Parade.
