Police are looking for a duo of panty-snatchers who struck a Staten Island Victoria’s Secret twice last month.
The first incident occurred on Jan. 1 at 12:15 p.m. inside a Victoria’s Secret at the Staten Island Mall located at 2655 Richmond Ave. when the female suspect acted as a lookout while her male counterpart took 80 pairs of underwear valued at $1,000, according to authorities. The duo then left the store without paying for any of the merchandise. RELATED:Pair targets shoppers, diners in string of Midtown Manhattan thefts Two weeks later on Jan. 16 at about 12:30 p.m. the suspects returned to the Victoria’s Secret and took 120 pairs of underwear, valued at $1,500, police said. The two then left the store.
Police have released surveillance photos and video of the suspects. The photos are from the Jan. 16 incident while the fist part of the video is from Jan. 1 and the second part is from the second incident.
