Patrick Dempsey and his wife call off divorce

It’s pretty common to hear “the wedding is off” from those who break up before they make it down the aisle. It’s rare that we get the opposite announcement: the divorce is off! But that’s exactly what’s happened with Patrick Dempsey and his wife, Jillian according to US Weekly.

Jillian filed for divorce from the 50-year-old “Grey’s Anatomy” star in January 2015 citing irreconcilable differences. It looks like she was mistaken. Dempsey confirmed that he and Jillian were back together during an interview with ES Magazine in May. US Weekly is confirming that earlier this month Jillian filed to a request to have the divorce papers dismissed. A judge granted the request last week.

This is some refreshing news when the Brangelina divorce still has us questioning the existence of love.​
