The Patriots were ravaged by injury last season. Up until Sunday afternoon, however, their 2014 injury reports were relatively clean.
Unfortunately for the Pats, many big names went down against the Bills and they will be looking to fill many holes going forward.
It is feared that linebacker Jerod Mayo could be lost for the season after he was carted off the Orchard Park, New York field with a knee injury. Mayo suffered a pectoral injury exactly one year ago today and it caused him to miss the remainder of the 2013 season.
Running back Stevan Ridley also went down with a knee injury and did not return to the game. He is scheduled to have an MRI Monday, according to ESPN.
Guard Dan Connolly suffered a head injury and tight end Rob Gronkowski fell awkwardly in the second half. Gronkowski would return to the game after the Patriots medical staff gave attention to his left arm.
