Police on Sunday afternoon were responding to reports of a person shot in Dorchester.
The call came in around 2:15 p.m. for a shooting at 726 Dudley Street, not far from the Upham’s Corner T stop , Boston Police spokesman James Kenneally told Metro.

There was no other information immediately available about the victim’s identity.

On Twitter, Sen. Linda Dorcena Forry write that the police response was “massive” and advised that travelers “avoid” the area.
