After a movie-worthy saga of its own, Alamo Drafthouse Brooklyn is ready to officially open its doors on Friday, Oct. 28.
The Texas-based theater chain’s 25th location sits on the fourth floor of downtown Brooklyn’s City Point mall, and has been in the works since for five and a half years. It had been set for an August debut before fire code issues pushed the grand opening back to this week. The theater will have seven screens with food and drink service — including 48 New York beers on tap — to all seats. And movie buffs can go all-out by renting the private outdoor terrace for a cocktail hour before or after the feature presentation. The theater is now ready, and members of Alamo’s loyalty program are getting a sneak peek beginning tonight. Look inside for yourself, and check back for our story with all the details.
