PHOTOS: Boston reacts to noisy F-15 flyover

The Massachusetts Air National Guard carried out a roughly 40-minute flyover of five F-15 fighter jets this morning as part of a media event coordinated with the Federal Aviation Administration.

The fighter jets left HanscomAir Force Basejust after 8 a.m., and passed over Boston about 15 minutes later. The flyover hit Salem, The Massachusetts State House, Fenway Park, Norwood Airport, Gillette Stadium, Cape Cod, Nantucket, and finally, Martha’s Vineyard.

The jets were at about 1,000 feet when they passed over Boston, making it hard for people on the ground not to notice. Here are some reactions from today’s noisy flyover.
