PHOTOS: Kanye West receives doctorate degree from Chicago art school

On Monday, Kanye West received a doctorate degree from the Art Institute of Chicago.

Thousands were in attendance to see Kanye walk across the stage during the commencement ceremony to receive his honorary Doctorate’s degree.

In typical Kanye fashion, there were moments where he looked overjoyed followed by moments where he looked like he’d rather be fishing. Either way, it was a great moment for the 37-year-old star to be recognized by the Art Institute of Chicago.

In 2004, Kanye West released his first album, “The College Dropout.” Eleven years, seven albums, marrying Kim Kardashian and having a child, Kanye can now be referred to as Dr. West.
