Thousands of protesters have gathered in downtown Cleveland to protest against Donald Trump and the Republican Party.
According to the ABC5 Cleveland, two police officers were assaulted and sustained minor injuries during day three of the convention. There have been at least five people arrested during the demonstrations so far, ABC5added. Photographs from the protests appear to show several demonstrators burning an American flag outside of the RNC.
Earlier today, Cleveland.com reported dozens of anti-Trump activists wearing ponchos painted to look like brick walls with phrases “Wall Off Trump” on them joined hands in solidarity in the downtown area of Cleveland.
