Police release images of Harlem subway slasher

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man wanted for a subway slashing in Harlem on Sunday.

According to authorities, on Jan. 31 at about 3:10 a.m. the victim got into a verbal dispute with a woman while onboard a moving southbound 2 train.

When the train arrived at the 110th Street station a man, who was waiting on the platform, confronted the victim over the argument with the woman, police said.

The man fought with the victim and during the fight he cut the victim with a knife causing him to suffer from a cut over his left eye, according to cops.

Both the man and woman fled the station in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspect as a black man, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, gray sweatpants and was carrying a black jacket.

Authorities released photos of the suspect on Wednesday night.
