Gubernatorial hopefuls Charlie Baker and Martha Coakley are in a dead heat with a little more than a month to go until the general election, according to one poll.
According to a new poll released by Rasmussen Reports, Coakley, a Democrat and the state’s current Attorney General, and Baker, a Republican and former health care CEO, have each earned garnered 42 percent support among “likely Massachusetts voters.”
According to Rasmussen, five percent prefer another candidate, while 10 percent are undecided.
Baker and Coakley will be joined on the Nov. 4 ballot by independent candidates Evan Falchuck, Scott Lively and Jeff McCormick.
