I’ll spare you the long wind up and go right for the pitch: Kylie Jenner is pregnant, according to multiple sources. So, yay?
Although it is hard to muster enough I-personally-actually-care, fans of the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star (and fans of hating on Life of Kylie, which is like “fetch” — It’s just not gonna happen, Diet Kardashian.) might be excited to hear… it’s a girl.
The 20-year-old businesswoman and face of the Kylie Jenner brand’s cosmetics, clothing and selfies is due in February.
“They started telling friends a few weeks ago,” a source told People. “The family has known for quite some time. She is really excited and so is Travis!”
Another source said boyfriend and presumptive baby daddy Travis Scott started telling friends the news in July.
“He was so excited he couldn’t keep it in,” the insider said. “He’s been so affectionate and protective of Kylie since they found out. He can’t wait to be a dad.”
The source added that Jenner has been posting old photos of herself and current pics from the waist up on Instagram to hide her growing baby bump.
“Kylie was really surprised but is so happy,” the source said. “She wants to be a mom.”
After splitting from on-again, off-again boyfriend Tyga in April, Jenner started seeing 25-year-old rapper Scott. A source told People there is no wedding planned.
“Kylie broke up with Tyga partly because she felt too young to get serious,” the insider said. “Now she’s having a baby with a guy she just started dating. People around her are really surprised. It happened really fast, but for Kylie, being with Travis is so different than anyone else. She’s so in love with him. She’s really excited.”
Jenner is auntie to sister Kim Kardashian West’s children: Saint, 21 months, North, 4, and the baby on the way via surrogate; brother Rob Kardashian‘s daughter Dream, 10 months; and sister Kourtney Kardashian‘s three children: Mason, 7, Penelope, 5, and Reign, 2.
Reps for the family would not confirm the information to People and TMZ reported it was unable to confirm the sex of the fetus.
Jenner’s ex Tyga posted a screenshot of TMZ’s article with the text “Hell nah that’s my kid” on Snapchat, but then quickly deleted it.
The KarJenners are reportedly happy with the Tyga-Travis swap.
“Kylie and Travis are doing great,” the source told People. “There’s no drama with Travis. He’s a cool guy.
“He treats Kylie with a lot of respect and love. Kylie is very happy.”
That’s nice. Kids are always a good idea when you’re young and just started dating someone new (insert eye roll emoji), but if anyone will make sure this kiddo is treated like the Bravo channel royalty she is sure to become, it’s grandma Kris Jenner.
