After delays and service changes from a water main break wreaked havoc just before rush hour Thursday afternoon, things are getting back to normal in Brooklyn Heights.
The R and Q lines at the Court Street station are running on their regular schedules Friday morning, but the northern section of the station remains closed while crews continue cleanup efforts and elevator repairs. A water main break at 156 Montague St. caused brown, ankle-deep water to pour into the station Thursday.About 100 customers and two dozen businesses in the area between Clinton and Henry streets were without water, and some are still waiting for it to be fully restored. A portion of Montague Street remains closed.
