Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen — two people you may or may not know exist — have broken up and so far there is nothing salacious about it. Dull! I would use this moment to pour out one of those 40-ounce-rosés, but alas, I do not have any.
The couple — who had been together for nearly 10 years — have been on the outs for a couple of months. “She’s full-time back in L.A. He’s in Toronto,” an insider confirmed to UsWeekly. “They are completely, officially done.” Aw, man.
The “Hart of Dixie” alum met the guy that ruined Darth Vader on the set of the 2008 film “Jumper,” where they played love interests. The two have been together since that year — except for that time they took a break in 2010 — and share a daughter, Briar Rose who was born in October 2014.
There’s literally nothing to speculate on, because these two are incredibly private and mature, which doesn’t work great for gossip. Here’s hoping she makes like ex-boyfriend Adam Brody (who is married to “Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester) and picks someone from “Gossip Girl” to shack up with next. May I suggest the dude who played Chuck Bass?
