Rihanna got a taste of Boston’s food scene during a trip to the Hub over the weekend.
According to People, the Grammy Award-winning singer was spotted out and about with her billionaire boyfriend and Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel. While it’s unclear why the couple was in town, the duo did get to check out some of the city’s best restaurants.
Rihanna and Jameel kicked off the weekend with a stop at acclaimed chef Lydia Shire’s Scampo at the Libert Hotel on Friday night. The duo followed things up by having a nice steak dinner at STRIP by Strega at the Boston Park Plaza on Saturday night.
Let’s just say that local fans were pretty pumped over RiRi’s trip to Boston, even if they didn’t get a chance to meet her.

Celebrities seem to have a thing for Boston’s food scene these days. In August, Mariah Carey made a trip over to Ocean Prime in the Seaport while she was in town for her concert with Lionel Richie at the TD Garden. Stars of the hit series “Game of Thrones” and “Stranger Things” were also spotted in the Hub over the summer as they dined in the North End.
