Samantha Geimer, the woman Roman Polanski drugged and raped in 1977 when she was 13 years old, says she and the infamous director are totally cool now and all is forgiven. I’m guessing law enforcement officials won’t be so nice, though. “I have absolutely forgiven [Polanski]. I feel like he owned up to what he did,” Geimer tells the National Enquirer after Polanski’s request for a new hearing was denied. “He pleaded guilty and served his sentence and, although he fled, he was fleeing a corrupt and unethical judge.” She also reveals that she’s in regular email contact with the exiled filmmaker. Those have got to be some interesting messages. Follow Ned Ehrbar on Twitter: @nedrick
