Russell Crowe will not be charged for hotel incident with Azealia Banks

In one of the more bizarre stories of the year, Azealia Banks crashed a small gatheringhosted by Russell Crowe back in October. Things took a dark turn when an altercation in the hotel room where the event was hosted resulted in Russell Crowe physically removing Banks from the room.

Banks pressed assault charges against Crowe, claiming that he called her the n-word and spat on her in addition to roughly tossing her out of his suite. TMZ reports that the Los Angeles county D.A. is rejecting the charges. They found his actions justifiable because of witness testimony that names Banks as the aggressor – she allegedly threatened to cut guests with a glass.

It’s worth noting that all of these witnesses are friends of Crowe’s who were invited to the party, which sucks for Banks.
