Ryan Reynolds says close friend tried to sell pictures of his child

Who can you trust when you’re famous? The answer: no one.

This was the lesson Ryan Reynolds told GQ Magazine he learned in a recent interview in which he revealed that a close and longtime friend of his was trying to sell pictures of his 9-month-old daughter.

“A guy that I’d known for my whole life, one of my closest friends growing up, he had been shopping pictures of my baby around,” Reynolds said in the interview. “I kind of got in front of it, which is good. But it was a slightly dark period. A bad couple of weeks.”

The actor shares daughter James with his wife of three years, film and television actress Blake Lively.

Reynolds told the magazine that he will no longer be speaking with his friend after the betryal.
