While everyone else was all in a tizzy about his lack of knowledge of Oscar history and apparent feud with screenwriter Dustin Lance Black — over tiny gay diver Tom Daly — Smith himself was more concerned with his performance at the ceremony of “The Writing’s on the Wall,” his theme from the latest James Bond film. Sure, but it’s over now. And you have an Oscar now, so there’s that, at least.
