Shailene Woodley broadcasts her arrest on Facebook live

Shailene Woodley, known for her role in the “Divergent” series and more recently “The Fault In Our Stars,” was arrested on Monday during a peaceful protest against the Dakota Access Pipeline in Sioux County North Dakota. The charge? Criminal trespassing.

The starlet live broadcast her time at the protest, which included a heavy police presence and ultimately Woodley’s arrest, on Facebook. The entire video is over 2 hours long but the arrest takes place in the last 4 minutes. Ultimately, it was her star power that had her singled out for arrest. When she asked why she was the only person out of hundreds to be arrested, the officers responded that it was because she had been “identified.”

This is a perfect example of when being woke goes wrong.
