Pete Davidson — “Saturday Night Live”‘s resident “young person” — opened up in an Instagram post about his newfangled sobriety.
The 23-year-old comedian, who has been kind of AWOL “SNL” and social media wise, wrote in a post that he’s sober for the first time in eight years, and he’s never been happier.

“Just wanted to let you guys know I’m okay. I quit drugs and am happy and sober for the first time in 8 years,” he wrote. “It wasn’t easy, but I got a great girl, great friends and I consider myself a lucky man.” Oh, P.S., the “great girl” he’s talking about is Larry David’s daughter, Cazzie.
