Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James will be assuming the protagonist role which was played by Michael Jordan in the original Space Jam back in 1996. However, that’s pretty much all we know about live actors in Space Jam 2.
Obviously, we’re going to see the likes of Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck and Tweety Bird.
But who is going to play the bad guys?
Most of us are expecting the return of the Monstars, a group of evil aliens from Moron Mountain who tried to sap the skills of Muggsy Bogues, Larry Johnson, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing and Shawn Bradley 22 years ago.
A new crop of players and stars in 2018 will likely be chomping at the bit to join LeBron on the set of Space Jam 2, but who could help assume the roles of the Monstars?
We at Metro decided to try and figure it out.
Which current NBA players could help make up the Monstars in Space Jam 2?
What many viewers don’t realize is that the Monstars actually had names as Pound (orange, Charles Barkley), Bang (green, Patrick Ewing), Nawt (red, Muggsy Bogues), Bupkus (purple, Larry Johnson) and Blanko (blue, Shawn Bradley) challenged Jordan and friends to one of the most epic games of basketball ever.
In Space Jam 2, a bunch of NBA players should run to join the Monstars on minimum contracts to chase a ring. pic.twitter.com/joUD0yr0cW
