Things seem to be crumbling within the Pittsburgh Steelers organization and wide receiver Antonio Brown might be the next to grab the headlines.
Following his team’s 42-37 loss to the Kansas Chiefs on Sunday, the star pass-catcher took to Twitter to send out this puzzling message to a former member of the team’s public relations staff.
After Ryan Scarpino, who worked with the Steelers for eight seasons, claimed Brown’s success as an elite receiver in the NFL was all because of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, Brown clapped back with an eyebrow-raising response:

Brown is a top-three receiver in the league, often grouped and put ahead of All-Pro talents like Odell Beckham Jr. and Julio Jones. He’s eclipsed the 1,500-yard mark three times in the past four years, leading the league in receptions and yards twice during that span.
He’s had a slow start to the 2018 season though as his Steelers are 0-1-1, a surprising tie to the Cleveland Browns coming before their loss to the Chiefs. While Brown has put up 18 catches in two games, he’s averaging just 8.9 yards per reception, almost seven yards less than his 2017 marks.
Is Antonio Brown serious about wanting to be traded?
It’s highly doubtful given his overwhelming success in Pittsburgh. But fault lines are forming within the organization.
Star running back Le’Veon Bell, who is in search of a long-term extension, continues to hold out as he’s missed the first two games of the season. Many believe that this is his final season with the Steelers.
Brown also did not look too happy during Week 2 action as he was seen getting into a heated argument with new offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner, among other offensive coaches:

His current demeanor might just be an extended outburst, but it’s not helping calm the nerves of any Steelers fans, who are suddenly thinking about losing two of their best offensive players in the same year.
