Antonio Brown’s antics at the beginning of the week have not helped the Pittsburgh Steelers in the slightest as they attempt to shake off a poor 0-1-1 start to the 2018 season without star running back Le’Veon Bell, who continues to hold out.
Following their Week 2 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs where the star wide receiver was seen arguing with offensive coaches, Brown responded to a former team public relations staff in a way that likely terrified Steelers fans everywhere:

Head coach Mike Tomlin’s constant claims of Brown not actually wanting to be traded did little to soothe initial hysteria, especially when it was confirmed that the 30-year-old did not show up to work on Monday.
Browns’ agent, Drew Rosenhaus, did tell ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the receiver does not want to be traded and that it was just a heated social media exchange. As for him not showing up for work, he was dealing with a personal matter.
That’s all fine and dandy, but we still haven’t heard from Brown since the tweet. Until he shoots down any inklings of a trade desire, it’s still the last thing he’s publicly said.
