Surveillance footage that surfaced Monday morning shows Karina Vetrano, the 30-year-old Queens woman who was brutally murdered last month,taking a jog in Howard Beach shortly before she was attacked. Vetrano’s body wasfound on Aug. 2 alongside a path she frequently ran in the Queens neighborhood. Police still have few leads, but released a sketch ofa person they would like to talk to about the incident last month. The video —obtained by TV program “Crime Watch Daily“—captures Vetrano jogging near Spring Creek Park at 5:46 p.m.Authorities believe it was just moments later that she was viciously attacked. It was another five hours beforeVetrano’s father found her body. She had been raped, beaten and strangled, and her teeth had been knocked out. Vetrano’s parents haven’t given up on finding their daughter’s killer. A GoFundMepage has raised more than $272,000 of the $400,000 goal to supplement the $20,000 reward being offered by the New York Police Department for information leading to an arrest, and $10,00 from the mayor’s office.
