The NYPD is seeking a man possibly connected to a home invasion and robbery that left one woman zip-tied in her bedroom.
Around 2 p.m. on Monday, March 7, a suspect posing as a city employee needing to check lead levels was allowed inside a woman’s apartment on University Avenue in the Bronx, police reported.
RELATED:Suspects attack victims with knife, bottle during Bronx robbery The woman, 28, was then forced by the suspect into her bedroom where he zip-tied her hands before going through the apartment, officials added. He removed cash and a Galaxy cellphone.
Police stated that they were searching for the suspect, described as a Hispanic man who is approximately 5-foot-10 and possibly in his 30s.
