Last summer, “X-Men: Apocalypse” writer Simon Kinberg tweeted a photo of himself with stars James McAvoy and Sophie Turner alongside Taylor Swift, and everyone got really excited that she might be popping up in the film as pop singer mutant Dazzler. Everyone — including Turner —insisted that a Swift cameo wasn’t happening. RELATED:TaylorSwift’s acceptance speech turns some heads But then on Friday Turner posted a still from the film showing co-star Tye Sheridan holding up a Dazzler record, along with the caption, “#FBF that time Cyclops and I went shopping at the mall and found our favorite singer’s album (pre 1989, of course),” prompting all new speculation that Swift really shows up. But really, for real everybody, she’s not in the movie. “She’s not in the film,” a source tells E! News. “And it’s not her on the Dazzler album cover from Sophie’s tweeted photo.” Got that? Stop trying to make Swift a mutant.
