Taylor Swift just proved that her fanbase crosses both gender and generational boundaries. On Monday, the day after Christmas, Swift wasn’t done spreading holiday cheer. She showed up to the Missouri home of 96-year-old Cyrus Porter with her parents and serenaded the long time fan and his family with an acoustic version of her hit “Shake It Off” according to E! News. Porter is a World War II veteran and he can fangirl with the best of them. He told his local news station, KFVS, that he’s already seen her in concert twice during her gigs in St. Louis and Memphis. Porter and his family were elated when Swift walked into their home with her guitar in hand. Who said that Taylor Swift only appeals to girls who like pumpkin spice lattes?
