Ted Cruz’s campaign has removed one of its commercials attacking Marco Rubio after it was revealed one of the actresses involved had worked as a softcore porn actress, BuzzFeed News reported.

Rick Tyler, a representative from the campaign explained to Vice News that it was the production company’s fault, and that Lindsay was cast through an open casting call. “Unfortunately, she was not vetted by the production company,” Tyler told Vice. “Had the campaign known of her full filmography, we obviously would not have let her appear in the ad.” Watch the whole ad for yourself:
