The deal: Whether you’re looking for a new suit or getting ready to graduate from one of the local universities (in other words, looking for a job interview suit), have no fear. Brooks Brothers is offering Black Friday discounts on its men’s and women’s shirts (which will be sold for $29.99), as well as its suits (sold on Black Friday for $199). Women’s sweater will also be 50 percent off.

Converse Store at Wrentham Outlets

The deal: Converse is going for pretty legit doorbuster offers. Our theory: They’re hoping you’ll wreck your shoes attempting to kick down the doors so that you’ll be forced to buy more. But we digress; the deals are pretty great. Adult doorbuster footwear will be $30, while kids’ doorbuster footwear will be $20. T-shirts will be on sale for $7. Remember: “doorbuster” is Black Friday speak for “get there early, and be prepared to swarm the store and frantically grab things. First come, first served.” May the shoes be ever in your favor!

The deal: The Body Shop is one of many stores to get a jump on the Black Friday spirit with a weeklong sale, but this one is too good to pass up: From Nov. 26 through Nov. 30, The Body Shop will be giving anyone who purchases $30 at the store the option to buy a $30 tote. That sounds insane, but before you roll your eyes, note that the tote is full of Body Shop goodies, and it’s valued at $125. Since we all know that $30 is often the cost of, say, a travel-sized lotion there, this deal is sweet. And the best part is, while it’s first come, first served, it’s also a weeklong event, so feel free to stop by on a mellow pre-Black Friday shopping day to pick up your tote.

The deal: This one starts on Black Friday but continues all weekend. Dellaria Salon will be offering bottles of shampoo for $10 (originally priced at $20), as well as three for $10 OPI nail polishes (which are usually $9.50 each, so, score), and two-for-$10 hairsprays (usually $20 each). Although the deals will extend through the weekend, we suggest you make the salon one of your last stops on Black Friday if you’re at Burlington; we have a feeling supplies won’t last very long. The deal: If the picturesque Faneuil Hall is going to be your Black Friday destination of choice, be sure to make a pit stop at Blink! A Light & Sound Extravaganza, which offers a light show alongside music of the Holiday Pops. It’s free, runs every 30 minutes and is a nice reprieve from the intensity of “I’ve gotta get those deals!” and all the crowds. Take the time, even amid all the craziness, to get into the holiday spirit and have a zen moment with the light show. It’s the perfect way to end a successful day at the shops.
