So the Eagles won — we know that by now. Philly fans paraded through the streets in celebration, and one can presume there was alcohol involved (as there usually is when masses of people celebrate together). And one fan who was visibly (drunkenly) celebrating? Comedian Kevin Hart.
Hart, a Philly native, interrupted an NFL Network interview with Eagles defensive lineman Fletcher Cox. He came up behind Cox and the newscasters, flapping his arms (because “fly Eagles, fly”).
“I’ve been drinking,” he admitted. “I’m on cloud nine.”
When Deion Sanders tried to get ahold of him, Hart squealed (yes, squealed), “Get off of me! Wait, I’m not, I’m not drunk! Get off of me! I’m having a good time, get off of me!”
Then he proceeded to speak into the microphone and drop an f-bomb on live TV: “Philadelphia’s a great city. I thought, I hope this is an example of what we can do. We gave a f*ck … ooh.”
He realized what he did, chuckled, “I’m out,” then quickly abandoned his mic, hurrying away as Sanders rushed him off screen.

Then there was this: Hart trying to get on stage toward the sacred Lombardi Trophy.

Early this morning, Hart posted an apology of sorts to Instagram (to be honest, it’s more of just a statement about his drinking, followed by more declarations of love for the Eagles). In the video, he’s hooded and seemingly hungover.
“To all the kids out there, I just want to say don’t drink,” he begins. “When alcohol’s in your system you do dumb stuff. Me trying to go on stage with the trophy [is] definitely in the top two stupidest things I’ve ever done but who cares? In the Instagram post, he uses a long list of hashtags. To name a few, “#iShouldHaveListenToMyWife, #iWasCaughtUpInTheMoment, #iWasSuperDrunk, #ImSoHappyForMyCity, #AtLeastiDidntPunchaHorse” and so on.
And for the record, after the Eagles’ playoff wins last month, fans were arrested for punching police horses (two incidents in one week) — and that’s where the “at least I didn’t punch a horse” hashtag came from. People these days…
So, to recap, at Super Bowl LII there was Pink’s Star Spangled Banner, JT’s halftime performance and an Eagles victory. But arguably the best part about last night was Kevin Hart — and through the hangover we’re sure he felt this morning, he probably agrees.
