Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater
This modern dance company, featuring African American performers, has been thrilling audiences in Boston for more than 50 years. The iconic troupe returns to the Hub for three days of shows at the Wang Theatre this weekend.

“Dead Man’s Diary”
Late Russian author Mikhail Bulgakov’s unfinished novel will be brought to life thanks to the Arlekin Players Theatre. The show is a comical look at the world of theater through Bulgakov’s experiences in Moscow during the ’20s and ’30s.

Boston Turkish Film Festival
Now in its 17th year, this month-long celebration honors the best in Turkish cinema. The festivities will kick off with the Excellence in Turkish Cinema Award Ceremony, which will celebrate the contributions by actor and director Ercan Kesal.

Irish Film Festival
St. Patrick’s Day may be over, but you can still celebrate Irish culture when this annual film fest returns this weekend. The festivities kick off on Thursday night with a screening of “Kissing Candice.” 2018 Oscar nominee “The Breadwinner” will also be shown during the fest on Saturday.

A Pinch of Ginger
Enjoy an epic brunch and help out the Joslin Diabetes Center’s Asian American Diabetes Initiative.
