Kesha has released emails she claims were sent to her by real-life villain Dr. Luke, and they are pretty terrifying.
The singer, who has been in a neverending quest to be freed from her contract with Sony and the producer, believes the emails support her claims that Dr. Luke has a history of emotionally and mentally abusing her. According to Jezebel, her lawyer filed another request for a contract release this week, so Kesha can go about rebuilding both her career and her life. Related:Dr. Luke continues his war against Kesha Page Six has the scoopon the emails, which are from 2012.First, in an exchange between Dr. Luke and Kesha’s manager, Monica Cornia, regarding Kesha’s single “We R Who We R,” Dr. Luke expressed disappointment with Kesha suggesting a small change to the lyrics. “I don’t give a s—t what you want. If you were smart, you would go in and sing it,” he allegedly said. Kesha tried to settle the spat with him afterward, but didn’t feel comfortable talking to him in the studio. Here’s hoping that these emails help Kesha’s long nightmare come to an end.
