Mobile dating app Clover recently launched a new topic-based group chat feature that makes meeting other singles with similar interests as quick and easy as downloading the app itself.
Mixers, the recently added feature, is like a mashup of Meetup and Reddit for singles. Users can host offline singles events as well as virtual online meetups for any topic of their choice.

New Yorkers are joining the “Interracial Relationships” more than any other city, and Alabama’s users favor “White Men For Black Women.” Oregon has a large number of “420 and chill” Mixers, “Gay Guys” is popular in New Mexico, and Oklahoma favors “Anime Geeks.” “Meeting someone in a Mixer is a lot of like meeting someone at a friends party,” said Isaac Raichyk, CEO of Clover. “We’ve been pleasantly surprised by the volume of Mixers people have created so far.
